I took this picture at the Trunk or Treat festivities at our vacation home in Newfoundland, PA (Pocono Mts). Since the community is large, they came up with a great idea for the kids to trick or treat. Everyone decorates their golf carts or mules and everyone comes down to the community center. The carts are in a large circle (think we had over 30 of them) and the residents hand out candy out of the trunks of the carts. The kids had a blast. In the picture is Amy (with Emma on board - due any day now), Chloe' and cousins Gretchen and Jack. Earlier, the community put on a party and the kids got to pick pumpkins, took a hayride and had balloons made by the clowns. It was a fun weekend! For this layout, I used the All Hallows Eve Paper Collection by Carta Bella, Ranger Black soot ink and dylusions black marble spray ink. I also used Tim Holtz' distress tool and 2 of his stencils: shatter and bubble along with Faber Castell whipped spackle. I used a variety of stamps and hand punches, viva pearl pens and Bo Bunny's zip-a-dee-doodle 6 x 6 paper pad. TFL!
Hi! Welcome to my scrapbooking blog. My name is Donna, nickname Dee Dee (thus Scrappy Dee which my husband called me everytime he walked by my scraproom - so it was natural to name my blog ScrappyDee's Place!)
